CONSULTANT AND ASSOCIATE PROFILES

Roy is a former Deputy Commissioner of the London Fire Brigade and has over 40 years of experience in the Emergency Services sector. He has first-hand experience of dealing with events in London such as the July 2007 bombings and the Ladbroke Grove train accident. Since leaving the London Fire Brigade Roy has specialised in provision of contingency emergency response services. He is a Fellow and former president and director of the Institution of Fire Engineers. Drawing on his experience and strategic command skills Roy is able to apply the principles of civil emergency response to the business environment. This includes the structures and processes required to ensure effective situational awareness and decision making together with design and delivery of effective training and exercising programmes

Steve was Head of London Resilience from 2015-2018, and a former Assistant Commissioner of the London Fire Brigade. Steve led the team that oversaw the strategic coordination of responses to events in London including the 2017 terrorist attacks, and he is also a member of the British Standards committee dealing with City Resilience. With over 35 years of experience in this field Steve now specialises in strategic coordination of the response and recovery to emergencies and other impactful events in organisations. He is a Chartered Engineer Fellow and former president and director of the Institution of Fire Engineers. Drawing on his experience and strategic command and coordination skills Steve is able to help businesses ensure that their strategic approach to business continuity event response and recovery is robust
